There are several ways you can help support the museum. You can volunteer, donate objects, or make a cash donation.
The Museum has a small staff and is looking to recruit some volunteers to help in a variety of roles. Currently we are looking for volunteers for:
Front of House: helping on the front desk and in the gift shop, making sure the museum is tidy, giving guided tours of the museum, helping with school visits, and helping with children’s activities.
Digitising: Working on a large scale project to digitise the museum’s archive and collections.
If you have skills you think would be beneficial to the museum and time to spare, please get in touch.
The AGC Museum is currently free to visit, and donations help us with running costs. Please get in touch if you would like to make a monetary donation to the museum.
The Museum accepts objects related to the current AGC and her antecedents, except for objects relating to the Royal Military Police and the Royal Military Staff Corps as stated in our Collections Development Policy. We do not accept objects without prior discussion with the curator. If we feel there is a more appropriate home for what is offered, we will suggest an alternative museum or collection. We want to make sure we can look after everything in our care, so we are not able to accept everything that is offered to us.
